๐ When life gives you lemons, make lemonade ๐
It took 6 months of emailing back and forth with Facebook, and now there is no way back: my advertising account is permanently and irrevocably deleted. Not the best news for a digital marketeer who teaches entrepreneurs to set-up Facebook ads.
Just at the moment that Iโm also switching to a new website. As if I donโt have enough on my plate alreadyโฆ
And so I thought: clean slate! Letโs start over.
Digital nomad life opens many new doors for me, English-speaking doors. Hence, my website is getting an update and Iโm adding an English version. And now Iโm also doing the same for my social media account.
Sadly, I said goodbye to my old account , which was probably the first thing I did when starting my business 4 years ago. ๐ฅน Iโm hoping my followers will be loyal and also come over to my new account .jane.marketing .
And I also see the positive note: now I can document exactly every step you need to take to set up a social media account. And yes, I wrote it down into a useful one pager for starters to use. Or even for you existing entrepreneurs who want to check if they can still optimise their account. Itโs a work in progress and youโll be able to download it soon!
๐ก Oh yes, let it be a lesson not to put all your eggs in one basket and not to make your client inflow dependent on one channel. You never know when technology will ruins that for you.
