To address one of the most-asked questions we receive (primarily from our mothers) about what we do all day, this post is intended to answer that question.

This is a sneak peek of a typeface we are currently working on with our colleague, Luboslav Boyanov - a serif typeface optimized for text, with elegant swashes that can melt your heart, combining traditional forms with delicate expressiveness.
We still have a few things to do, but keep an eye out; it is coming.

Inspiration is a weird thing and can be found in the oddest locations.

Take these sheets, for example. I found them at a flea market in Georgia a few years back. It’s a beautiful example of illuminated Cyrillic initials that somehow found us in the most unexpected place.

It has lived on our studio table ever since, and we’re always discussing it: what can we do with this? Is it time to turn it into a full font?
