The MPR family extends our heartfelt condolences to our very own Lavant “Blaudy” Pratt and his family on the passing of his beloved father, Clifford “Cliffie” Pratt.

Our prayers are with Blaudy, his mother Patricia Pratt, and the entire Pratt family during this time of loss. May God surround you with His peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead 🙏🏾

music T-Pain’s live vocals are insane

During a 2013 flight to the BET Awards, T-Pain was woken up by a flight attendant who told him Usher wanted to speak with him. After some small talk, Usher allegedly told him, “Man, you kind of fked up music… You really fked up music for real singers.”

T-Pain later admitted that the conversation hit him hard and sent him into a years-long depression. At the time, Auto-Tune was everywhere in music, and many people blamed him for its rise in popularity.

Years later, T-Pain responded in the best way possible…by dropping a live album that showcased his raw vocals with zero pitch correction. The project featured him singing classic songs completely unplugged from Auto-Tune, proving he was always a real singer.
