🌿Interested in studying environmental science, policy or sustainability in Europe — fully funded?

The MESPOM Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme (2026–2028) is now open for applications!

🌿 MESPOM Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management (2026–2028)
Offered by a consortium of four top European universities: CEU (Austria), Lund (Sweden), Manchester (UK), and University of the Aegean (Greece).

📚 Programme Highlights

2-year (120 ECTS) multidisciplinary programme focused on solving global environmental sustainability challenges.

Study across multiple countries:

Year 1: CEU (Austria) → University of the Aegean (Greece)

Year 2: Either Lund (Sweden) or Manchester (UK) → Thesis at any partner university

Includes internships, fieldwork, and training in policy, management, and science.

💰 Scholarships & Funding

Erasmus Mundus (EMJM) full scholarships available for outstanding candidates (covers tuition, travel, and living costs).

Self-funded seats also available.

✅ Academic Requirements

You must have a Bachelor’s degree (3+ years) in environmental studies or a related field (e.g. agriculture, social sciences, law, economics, engineering, natural sciences).

Minimum GPA: 3.5 (on a 4.0 US scale). Below that = not eligible.

✅ English Language Requirement

Mandatory if your previous studies weren’t fully in English.

Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Cambridge C1/C2, Duolingo, etc.

Minimum scores start from: TOEFL iBT: 88+; IELTS: 6.5+; PTE: 59+

Note: Higher scores are needed if you choose the University of Manchester track.

✅ Exemptions from English Test

If English is your first language OR your entire Bachelor’s/Master’s was taught in English, you may request exemption (subject to approval).

15 Apr 2026 – Self-funded non-EU applicants requiring visa

15 Jul 2026 – Self-funded EU/EEA citizens

🌏 Exciting Opportunity: Apply for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2025!

Are you passionate about driving social and economic development in Bhutan and beyond? The JJ/WBGSP offers scholarships for master's degree programs in key development areas such as economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.

Eligibility Highlights:
✅ Be a national of a World Bank member developing country (including Bhutan).
✅ Hold a bachelor’s degree earned at least 3 years before the application deadline.
✅ Have at least 3 years of paid, development-related work experience.
✅ Be unconditionally admitted (except for funding) to one of the 41 participating master’s programs offered by leading universities worldwide including Australia (ANU).

📅 Application Windows:

Window 1: January 13 – February 28, 2025 (12:00 noon EST)
Window 2: March 25 – May 23, 2025 (12:00 noon EST)
