HOLD YOUR HEART, SORRY!

It's not ONE innocent college girl student who is desperately looking for B+ve kidney donor but it's TWO. And they are both just 21 years old.

It breaks my heart because it's not easy to get compassionate kidney donor. Life has become sleepless these days for them, their parents, me and my Bhutan Kidney Foundation team.

Disclaimer: Their identity won’t be disclosed until we find right potential kidney donor. And sorry for publishing such kind of content which might have disturbed some of you during happy times. Couldn’t control my inner suffering so shared it with hope to find a life saviours for these innocent sisters.

A Dream Waiting for a Second Chance

Today, I visited a 21 year old college girl in hospital whose eyes were filled with tears time and again after being diagnosed with kidney failure. She was in her final year of college, carrying dreams of graduating and building a beautiful future for herself and her parents. But today, those dreams stand on the edge of shattering.

At an age where most young people are preparing for careers and chasing their ambitions, she is instead fighting for her life. Sleepless nights, loss of appetite, endless pain, and fear have become part of her daily life. Her heart has weakened clinically, her health has declined, and even the bright smile she once carried has slowly faded away.

Her parents are willing to do anything to save their only child. Sadly, despite their desperate wish to donate a kidney, their blood groups do not match. The family now lives in darkness, helplessly watching their daughter suffer while hoping for a miracle.

A compassionate B+ positive kidney donor could become the light that saves her life and restores hope to this broken family. Somewhere, there may be a kind-hearted soul who can give this young girl a second chance to live, complete her education, and fulfill the dreams she once held so dearly.

Please, if you are B+ positive and willing to come forward as a compassionate kidney donor, you could save a precious life.

Sometimes, one selfless decision can bring an entire family back from darkness into hope.

Compassion in Action During SAGA DAWA

In celebration of the sacred month of SAGA DAWA, a kind-hearted individual generously donated Nu. 100,000/- to the Bhutan Kidney Foundation. She has remained a consistent supporter of the Foundation and its mission.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Kinley Yangdon all the way from New York for always standing beside the most needy kidney patients through the Foundation.

A Rimdo was conducted yesterday at the Bhutan Kidney Foundation Kidney Patients’ Shelter in Wangduephodrang following the unfortunate passing of a 54 year old female dialysis patient from Trashiyangtse.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence Laytshog Lopen Sangay Dorji for compassionately facilitating all the Rimdo rituals free of cost and offering prayers for the departed soul. And special thanks to Lama and team for your kind sacrifices.
