It's all very busy and exciting at Samcholing right now,particularly for our tea growers member.Spring is one of the busiest times of year for farmers,as most tea garden begin harvesting frequently tea leaves.Members work incredibly hard alongside to earn money and ensure their delicious teas reach to customers swift and safely.We can't begin to explain how much work this entails.Without them,there is no tea.So thank you all our team members.Samdrupcholing Zangja Tshongley Detshen.Bhutan Green -Tea

On April 16, 2024, the Samcholing Green tea House had the honour to receive Mr. Sebastian Beckwith who is from the U.S. to visit our community. During the talking, he shared his experiences and provided valuable insights about the tea processing.
We thank to our conversation that we had together. We wish him a fruitful and rewarding experience during his stay in Trongsa, Bhutan.

Yesterday on 15/04/24 Samdrupcholing Zanja Tshongley Detshen (Bhutan Green-Tea) was very grateful that the Thai volunteer Ms. Nuttayaporn Sangpet who is working as a Community and Tourism Development advisor for the One Gewog One Product (OGOP) project in Queen’s Project Office under His Majesty’s Secretariat came to organize the workshops for our community.
We had prepared our plantation for the New Product called “Matcha Green Tea” for the future, relearned how to make Green Tea, Oolong tea, and Black tea, practiced hygiene and food safety, and had done the Big Cleaning Day 2024.

We will remain highly indebted to Ven.Sunim for consenting to support Bhutan Green Tea with the provision of necessary tea processing equipment.
