Two years in business today….WOAH!

Yet another year of learning and hard work, but I can not be prouder how much Bliss and Tassel has grown in this time.

I love that I am able to empower women to follow their passion and be part of their journey to success. My heart fills knowing that the work I do is important in the process of someone creating their dream.

One year in Business. WOW!

What can I say. It has been a roller-coaster of learning and personal development but I have loved it.

This job has opened my eyes to a whole new world and community I am so thankful to be apart of. Through design I get to help empower other women to follow their dreams and passions. I have been able to meet and connect with some pretty amazing people which has made this journey a incredible one.

In the last year Bliss and Tassel has grown so much with clients now all around the world; Canada, USA, UK, NZ and Australia.

So I thought I would share some of my client love with you all to celebrate.

Not sure what everyone else was doing on their Friday night but Bliss and Tassel with a bunch of amazing people were having fun sharing and learning tips and trick for social media.

Our third workshop was a beautiful way to end the workshops series with Darshan CommUnity.

Thank you to the many people that came and learned some of the tips and tricks I have picked up on my girlboss journey.

I absolutely loved the workshop we did tonight on website essentials.

We had an amazing group of people willing to learn. Each of them having something valuable to bring to the table.

I loved that we ran overtime because we had so much we wanted to discussion and share... a workshop doesn't get much better than that.

Thank you all to came tonight and a thank you to Lucie Darshan for helping me get the workshop up and running.

Bliss and Tassel's first workshop with many more to come.

What an amazing experience it was teaching all these wonderful and passionate people about branding and consistency last night.

No only did we have people attend from the local Banff and Canmore area but we also had people from around the world join virtually ❤️

It warms my heart to know I have been able to help these inspiring people on their journey.

Also a big thanks to Lucie Darshan and the Darshan CommUnity for allow me to share my knowledge with the community.

Today is International Women’s Day and I have so much that I am thankful for as a women in this modern age.

> I am thankful for the women before me that have created a world where I feel inspired and empowered to be myself.
> I am thankful for the support of fellow girlbosses that have helped me grow and uplift me to be my best self.
> And I am also thankful for the men in my life that have encouraged and supported me as a women to create a world of equality and opportunity.

I wanted to take this time to remind not only myself but you girls, that although we have many inspiring women before us that have carved a path for us to walk. We do not have to follow in the same footsteps as them.

So often in our lives and businesses we feel the need to compare ourselves to those around us or before us, constantly trying to fit into the same shoes as them.

But hun, your uniqueness is what makes you special and I want you to remember that!

I want you to remember that we each have our own paths and shoes to fill…so fill those shoes with your own dreams and aspirations while learning from those around and before you.

Since it’s national employee appreciation day I want to share with you a bit about what it is like to be your own boss.👩‍🎨

Being your own boss comes with it’s fair share of ups and downs, don’t get me wrong!

And since you know I keep it real, I wanted to tell you the truth… it has been hard. Possibly the hardest I have ever worked.

But would I change it for the world… definitely not!

It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had.

I wake up loving what I do and how I help others.
I love that my sometimes 16 hour days don’t feel that long at all and I love having the ability to adjust my work days so I can travel and spend time with loved ones.

Yes, I have bad days where I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing.
And yes, I even have days where it feels like all I do is add more stuff to my to do list.✏

But I want you all to know that, no matter the ups and downs if you do what you love, it has the ability to fill you up and keep you reaching for the stars.

So to all you hustlers out there running your own biz like a boss, I want to give you a round of applause for following your dreams and putting in those long hours. Keep up the amazing work! 👏
