Life Drawing Final – Timed Studies

For our final project in life drawing class, we were put to the test with timed drawings—and wow, it was both intense and incredibly rewarding!

I completed a 1-hour portrait study and a 30-minute action sketch, and while it felt daunting at first, the experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow so much. It really forced me to focus on capturing gesture, proportion, and expression quickly and confidently.

These exercises reminded me that sometimes the best growth comes when you’re working under pressure—and having fun with it!

Meet Grumble!
Say hello to my original character—Grumble!

Grumble may look a little... well, grumpy, but don’t be fooled by the furrowed brows and patchy sweater—he's actually a kind-hearted little helper with a big job.

Grumble lives under the bed, quietly watching over kids and their favourite toys. Whenever a beloved teddy or action figure mysteriously disappears, chances are, Grumble is already on the case—tracking it down and making sure it finds its way back home. The twist? No one can see him! (Though some kids think they’ve caught a glimpse…)

I created Grumble as part of a story I'm developing, and I’ve absolutely loved bringing him to life through digital painting and a whole lot of imagination. His world is growing with every drawing, and I can't wait to share more soon!

Welcome to My Creative Corner!

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m currently finishing up the last few terms of my graphic design diploma, and this page is where I’ll be sharing my creative journey—from polished projects to pencil sketches straight from my sketchbook.

I love working with all kinds of media, whether it’s digital painting, vector art in Illustrator, or getting lost in the feel of pencil and Copic markers. While I’ve enjoyed creating a few logo designs, illustration is where my heart truly lives—bringing characters, ideas, and emotion to life through line and colour.
