Project Spotlight:
telMAX | Santa Claus Parade Float

We had a great time helping telMAX with their 2023 Santa Claus Parade Float! The theme was “telMAX helps Santa’s elves keep him on schedule.” The goal was to make a float that combined traditional holiday cheer with cool, high-tech elements.
The float started as a wagon with specific shapes, so we worked with what was already there. We came up with the idea to make the outside of the wagon look like a cozy log cabin while the inside looked like a high-tech server room. We offered two options: simple vinyl wraps that were easy to stick on or designs with extra details, like 3D window frames and blinking LED lights, to make the float stand out even more.

In the end, telMAX as us to simplify the design and they used the project as a team-building activity. The outside was painted to look like wood, and we turned the designs into easy-to-use stickers. Inside, the server room was printed as a full wrap and lit from below so the details can be seen. We also gave tips on how telMAX could add to the float in the future to keep it fresh and exciting.
This project was so much fun to work on, and the final float turned out amazing! Great job, telMAX! 🎅✨

Project Spotlight: Swordfish Bar | Corporate Identity & Branding

This project involved creating a logo and brand identity for an upscale seafood and oyster bar. The client wanted a minimalist design that was easily recognizable and distinct from their other restaurant ventures. Here’s how we brought their vision to life:

Key Objectives:

Develop a clean, simple logo that could be seamlessly applied across restaurant essentials such as glassware, coasters, napkins, uniforms, gift cards, and promotional items.

Ensure the branding complemented their existing restaurants while giving Swordfish Bar a unique identity.

Our Approach:

Wordmark Design: We used a clean, sans-serif typeface with aligned baselines to create a sharp, cohesive edge representing the water's surface.

Fish Icon: A hand-drawn outline of a swordfish was added below the wordmark. Keeping it as an outline maintained balance and ensured the icon didn’t overpower the text.

Typography Pairing: The extended typeface subtly offsets the swordfish icon, emphasizing the grandeur of the creature while enhancing the overall design's sophistication.

The final logo struck the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance, capturing the upscale essence of Swordfish Bar. It was not only well-received by the client but also resonated with the community, becoming a standout element of the restaurant's brand identity.
