Exciting News - I wish I had This opportunity back then..

🌟 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧! 👑

When Glenda first joined our community, she didn't know much about social media.

She was nervous.
She had so much to learn.
And there were moments when the overwhelm made her wonder if she should give up.

But she had something even more important:

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞.

She was willing to learn.
She was willing to grow.
And most importantly, she was willing to keep going.

One year later, I honestly can't recognize the Glenda who first started.

Today, we call her our 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧! 👑❤️

Glenda, I am so incredibly proud of the growth I've watched in you.

And what inspires me most isn't just how much you've learned.

It's the fact that 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.

There were days you felt overwhelmed.
There were days you wanted to give up.

But you stayed the course.

Because many people give up when the road gets tough.

You didn't.

You kept learning.
You kept showing up.
You kept growing.

And look at you now! 🌟

Your journey is just beginning, and I truly believe there is so much more ahead for you.

Today, I'm celebrating 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠.

And if you're reading this thinking, “But I don't know how to do any of this…”

Remember Glenda.

You don't have to know everything to begin.
You just have to be willing to learn—and brave enough to keep going when it gets hard.

Your first step doesn't have to be perfect.

It just has to be taken. ❤️

Learning is only valuable when we put it into practice.

I was so excited to attend Gather & Grow Vancouver on Saturday! ❤️

It was packed with information, learning, fun, and so many great takeaways.

My notebook is now filled with handwritten notes… 📖✍️

But I reminded myself:

If I don’t implement what I learned, all those notes don’t really matter.

So instead of trying to do everything at once, I’ve chosen 3 things I’m going to put into practice this week.

1️⃣ Know your story — and be able to share it simply.

I know my story.

But what I learned is that if someone asked me in an elevator, “What do you do?” I should be able to tell my story and what I do in one minute, in a way they can understand.

So that’s my homework this week. 😊

2️⃣ Make your conversations more personal.

Instead of always sending another written message, I want to try more voice messages and short videos.

There’s something different about hearing someone’s voice or seeing their face. It creates a more personal connection.

And yes, AI is an amazing tool—but just like any tool, we have to learn how to use it properly without losing the human connection.

3️⃣ Do your part. Then let go of the outcome.

Give your best.
Show up with intention.
Do your part 100%.

But don’t become attached to the result.

The effort is in our control. The outcome isn’t always in our control.

And one more reminder I’m carrying with me:

Choose happiness. ❤️

Life will always have things happening around us that we cannot control.

But I don’t want my happiness to be completely dependent on external circumstances.

So this week, I’m choosing to learn, implement, connect, do my part—and stay grateful and happy along the way.

Sharing Lessons from my Virtual Business Gather and Grow Vancouver

Today was one of those days I’m grateful for. ❤️

Today was our Staff Day Away, and as part of the planning committee, I had the privilege of helping put together a day filled with excitement, learning, games, laughter and fun.

I’m grateful for the people I work with, the experiences I get to have, and the blessings God continues to place in my life. 🙏🏽

But that’s not all…

There is more! 👀

Over the years, I’ve learned that we don’t always have to choose between appreciating where we are and building toward where we want to go.

I’m grateful for my career—and I’m also grateful that I decided to explore something different on the side.

Building my online business while continuing to work has allowed me to learn new skills, meet incredible people, and create another option for my future.

I don’t know exactly what every chapter ahead will look like.

But I do know this:

I’m grateful I didn’t stop dreaming.
I’m grateful I stayed open to learning.
And I’m grateful I started building before I needed to.

Because sometimes the wisest thing we can do is appreciate today while preparing for tomorrow. ❤️
