Wearing to many hats?

I get it...when you own your business, especially a smaller industry with maybe you and 1 or 2 other people, you end up wearing allllll of the hats.

This can be a quiet growth killer. It means you lack time to focus on the things that you need to be focusing on. Because a lot of your time is being taken up by non revenue generated tasks..the paper work, the admin stuff...all things that have to be done but not where your hands make the money.

I know this because I have done this to myself for a very long time. I have gotten very good at wearing alllll of the hats, its why I started this marketing business because through my building and experience as a wellness practitioner, wearing all of the hats and doing all of the things I understand the struggle and the work. I see where the gaps are and can envision the steps that need to be taken and take the action that needs to happen to move the needle forward.

I have such a strong belief that people in service industry are helping the world be a better place. They provide service for others that are helpful, positive and in most cases, healing. And I dislike seeing so many of them struggle with not having booked out businesses or burning out on the back end stuff.

It's why I'm doing this Future Focused Marketing thing. I help service based business see the gaps, do the work that they don't have the time or desire to do, create marketing messaging that speaks to their ideal client, get clear on their business and take action.

Unpopular opinion:

Consistency matters more than creativity.

I know that's not what social media gurus want you to hear.

We're constantly told we need better graphics, more engaging reels, stronger hooks, and more creative content.

But most people aren't sitting around waiting for your next brilliant post.

They're busy living their lives.

And when the moment comes that they're ready to hire someone, book a service, or ask for help, they need to remember that you exist.

That's where consistency wins.

This isn't because every post is groundbreaking or that every piece of content goes viral.

It's because you've shown up often enough that people know who you are and what you do.

The businesses that grow aren't always the most creative.

They're often the ones that simply keep showing up.

So if you're staring at a blank screen wondering what to post, here's your reminder:

Post anyway.

Share the lesson again.

Tell the story again.

Talk about your offer again.

Being present will always beat being perfect.

What things are you doing for your business this week?

I'll share some of the things I've done this past week and have planned for this upcoming week below in the comments.

People aren't saying no because of your price.

They're saying, "I'm not sure what to expect."

Think about it.

When someone is considering working with you, they're often wondering things they never actually ask:

What happens during a session?
Will I feel comfortable?
Is this really for someone like me?
What do we talk about?
What happens afterwards?

Your service isn't the problem.
It's usually the uncertainty of it.

One of the easiest ways to build trust is to answer the questions people are too polite to ask.

Show them what it's like to work with you.

Walk them through your process.

Explain what a first appointment feels like.

Remove the mystery.

You don't have to convince people.

People just need to feel comfortable enough to take the next step.

One of the biggest shifts I made in my business had nothing to do with websites, marketing strategies, or social media algorithms.

It was learning to talk about my work before I needed clients.

For a long time, I only mentioned my availability when my calendar felt too quiet.

You know the posts:

"I have a few openings this week if anyone needs support."

I started to notice something.

The business owners I admired most didn't disappear when they were busy.

They kept showing up, sharing and talking about what they do.

This wasn't because they needed bookings that day, but because they were building trust for the future.

Your marketing doesn't have to be reactive.

You can share your work when you're inspired, when clients have wins, behind-the-scenes moments and to simply remind people that you're here.

The goal isn't to constantly sell.

The goal is to stay visible enough that when someone does need what you offer, they think of you first.

Consistency will always outperform the occasional "I have openings" post.

Website builds.. what you may need to know about them!

What did you do with your Sunday morning?

I woke up with an idea to add a page to my website, so I spent the morning creating, updating and adding that!

I have been doing more and more group sessions at various businesses with my wellness business. So why not add a page for people to fall onto that can see what hiring me for group events can look like.

Tip: I love to add pricing to my website as well...this removes the back and forth conversations that can happen and take up a ton of time.

People can navigate and see if my service is right for them before even reaching out.

Go take a peak at the work I did this morning. I'll post the link for the webpage in the comment below.

DIY marketing. Are you feeling like you've outgrown this?

I have always been a DIYer in all things in life.

Being an entrepreneur, I think it is a non negotiable at times to be a DIYer.

BUT it can become overwhelming and exhausting, especially if you don't have systems in place.

If you are currently in the DIY marketing world and feeling exhausted, burnt out and overwhelmed by it...and feel like you just need to hand the torch over to someone else who can move the needle forward for you, lets talk.

Seriously!!!! Ok, receiving a message like this brings the most joy and happiness to my entire body. She hired me to do ...

Seriously!!!!

Ok, receiving a message like this brings the most joy and happiness to my entire body.

She hired me to do social media post creating/posting, and with the very first post, this was accomplished!

I happy danced, smiled so hard and sent so much love of excitement back to her.

Yesterday I told a client that my goal here is to see other practitioners thrive. I have a special place for holistic practitioners and truly want to see them successful.

My heart feels like every person is put here for a reason and a purpose. And I really feel that holistic practitioners heal this world, and I love that.

So helping them be successful helps heal the world and makes the world a better place. (So I think anyways)
