Whether you do it every New Year or at various times throughout the year, knowing what you want in life will prevent that feeling of just floating through each day without purpose. Knowing your purpose and goals will motivate you to wake up and take action every single day.

Setting goals in every aspect of your life will keep you focused on what you want. Whether it’s about regaining your health or increasing your business profits, knowing what you want allows you to put action steps in place. After all, nothing happens in life without taking action! ✅

If you’re feeling defeated with not reaching goals in the past, don’t worry. Even the most successful celebrities and business owners have seen their own failures but continued to set goals anyway.

✨KNOW WHAT YOU WANT + MAKE IT HAPPEN!✨

How is your life and/or your biz doing?

Is it stagnating, boring, going nowhere?

Have you become obsessed with meeting those loan payments or trying to just survive until the next fistful of money comes in? 💸

Are you having trouble maintaining your positive expectancy about life and/or biz?

Trust me I get it, I've been there too! But I've found that one of the ways to live a satisfying life is to simply dream up the things that we want to do + then make them happen.

It's a simple concept that so few of us put into practice, so how can we change that?

First, grab yourself a pen + paper, find a quiet, comfortable spot free from distractions + take these steps:

1. BRAINSTORM IDEAS 💭
For the next 10-15 minutes, write down all the things you'd like to do + don't evaluate as you write! For example, if you'd like to go overseas on holidays for 12 months - don't stop and think if you can afford it. Just write it down. Evaluation can occur later. At this stage, write down all the things that you'd like to do assuming there was nothing that you couldn't do.

2. PRIORITIZE IDEAS ✍🏻
When you've finished brainstorming, you'll have a list of things you would like to do. Your next step is to review your list + sort it into priority order. Again, don't evaluate any of these items while you're ranking them. Number the items from things you want most to least.

3. EVALUATION 🤔
Now, look at the top 3 items on your list + ask yourself: "What's stopping me from doing these things? It'll help to clarify things if you write down these reasons. For example, if your #1 choice is to go overseas for 12 months, your reasons for not being able to do so could be: can't afford it, can't leave my biz unattended, or afraid I won't like it when I get there.

4. CREATE AN ACTION PLAN ✅
Your final step in this process is to put your plan into actioN + the best time to do that is always NOW!

Don't let your big plans stop you from doing some of your smaller plans now. Pick a couple of activities you can do within the next month + DO THEM!

You'll feel like a different person for having done so.
