And for me, that couldn't be more true. I'm Wade, the founder of Wader Likes Media, and running my own ad agency and creating visually stunning content to showcase the place I love and call home, Chatham-Kent is truly living out my dream.⁣

It wasn't easy getting to where I am today. Pursuing your passion and turning it into a successful business takes a lot of courage and determination. There were a LOT and I mean a LOT of doubters. But I had a vision to work with the exceptional entrepreneurs in the area and shine a light on their great businesses with video and photo! With hard work, dedication and some faith from local business owners, I was able to make it a reality.⁣

Through our work at Wader Likes Media, my team and I pride ourselves on being able to capture the essence of Chatham-Kent and share it with the world. We’re able to tell visual stories and bring out the unique character of each location, business and person that we interact with. People always talk about passion projects, but I get to live my passion work everyday - highlighting and benefitting the local businesses and organizations in my area and inspiring those from out of town to appreciate and explore the beauty that is Chatham-Kent.⁣

As creative brand storytellers, we’ve had the pleasure of working with many local companies and EVERY SINGLE TIME it’s such an exciting experience.

From the first meeting to the final video or campaign, we get to be a part of a company’s journey and help craft their story as it comes to life.

It's amazing to see the passion and hard work that goes into these businesses, and we truly love being able to help them showcase their unique brand by way of creative storytelling through videography, photography and social media management.

Working with such incredible local companies and business leaders has allowed our team to learn more about our community and connect with other driven entrepreneurs, which has been nothing short of incredibly rewarding. Needless to say, we love our job… and we love !

So, Wade owns and operates the business that is “Wader Likes Media,” but when asked what he does, he typically says he’s a “brand storyteller.”

This usually elicits questioning responses or confused faces, at the very least. Because brand storytelling…. what’s that all about, right?

Well… we all know people have a desire to connect with others through stories. And that includes brand stories! So that’s what we do. Connect the stories we create for the brands that we represent with their intended audience.

Your brand is what sets you apart from your competitors, and it's what makes people loyal to your business. We love to work with our clients on finding a voice, a personality, a memorable identity that allows them to connect with their audience and establish a relationship that converts into positive results.

At Wader Likes Media, we do our best to be involved in and support the community where we live and work, whenever possible.

However, this donation to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation is a special one.

Our Managing Director, Jenna Haskell, recently experienced the wonderful, compassionate end-of-life care provided to patients and their families during her grandmother’s final days there.

So, in memory of Gwen Beardsall, Jenna’s much-loved Granny, we wanted to give back to the truly amazing organization that provided phenomenal care, comfort and support during her stay there.

The Chatham-Kent Hospice relies on donations to cover over 62% of its operating budget, so we wanted to help in a small way by sharing the incredible experience Jenna’s family had there. Our goal is to help spread the message of the many benefits of residential hospice care in our community, and let those who already donate know how impactful their generosity is.

Big moments, little moments and everything in between!💥

We were beyond thrilled to create this employer brand video for highlighting their distribution centres and the unique impact the people working in them have on life in Canada.

When Wader Likes Media got started, the primary goal was to create fun and effective content to highlight our local community and the great people who live and work in it.

Well, the company has grown and the vision has definitely expanded, but we haven’t forgotten our initial goal.

Now we have the opportunity work with some amazing national brands, AND the ability to tie in the Chatham-Kent community to help tell these brand stories.
