What an incredible day!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the CKNX 100th Anniversary Open House. We were blown away by the support, stories, and memories shared throughout the day.

With more than 400 people coming through our doors, it was amazing to see so many listeners, former staff, community members, and friends helping us celebrate a century of local broadcasting.

I was proud to play a small role in the day by helping give station tours. As someone who grew up listening to the stations in this building and now has the opportunity to be part of the team, it was pretty special to share the station's history and see firsthand how much it means to so many people.

From touring the station and exploring the archives to reconnecting with familiar faces, the day was a wonderful reminder of what makes CKNX so special, the people and communities we serve.

Thank you for being part of our story and helping us celebrate this incredible milestone. Here's to the next 100 years!

Not every marketing project is about selling a product.
Sometimes it's about telling a story!

Recently, I had the chance to help create this 30-second video for the Bruce County Museum, highlighting their Archives and reminding people that this amazing resource is open to the public.

It was a unique challenge trying to capture something as rich as local history in such a short video, but I love how it turned out. Thank you to Rachel from our Brand One Digital team for shooting and editing this!

One of the coolest parts of working in radio is being connected to so much local history.

As part of our CKNX 100th Anniversary celebrations, we're opening the doors this Saturday and inviting the community to come take a look behind the scenes at our Open House!

If you've ever listened to CKNX, advertised your business with us, watched CKNX Television back in the day, or simply enjoy local history, this is a great opportunity to stop by.

You'll be able to meet past and present staff, browse through memorabilia from the station's incredible history, tour the CKNX AM920 studio, and even walk through the former television studio.

For 100 years, CKNX has been a part of life in Midwestern Ontario, and it's pretty special to be able to celebrate that legacy with the people who helped build it.

I'd love to see some familiar faces there!

One of my favorite parts of this job is building relationships with local business owners and helping them grow over the long term.
