Here’s a mistake we see all the time: business owners tucking their best content away on internal pages.

If you’ve got something important, like a rave review or a unique selling point, don’t make people dig for it!

Put your best content where it matters most:
✔️ Above the fold (think before they have to scroll)
✔️ On your homepage (likely the first page they’ll land on when they visit your website)
✔️ Near your CTAs
✔️ Repeated in key spots throughout the site (this is great for testimonials!)

Your audience is busy. Lead with impact, and make the scroll worth it. You’ve only got a few seconds to capture their attention! 👩🏼‍💻

Your design might be polished, but if the words don’t reflect your voice… your message can fall flat.

Website copy should sound like you—not like a robot, or someone who lives inside a thesaurus. People want clarity and connection. Not confusion.

If your site sounds stiff, overly formal, or just… off? It might be time to revisit your messaging.

Pro tip: Read it out loud. If it doesn’t sound like something you’d say, rewrite it! ✨ 👩‍💻

Nipîy Tu Research & Knowledge Centre came to us pre-launch, looking for a website that felt rooted in nature and aligned with their mission: protecting the environment and advancing Indigenous knowledge systems.

They wanted something professional, but not overly polished—something that felt grounded and reflective of their land and work.
