It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of our upcoming Business Awards Gala following a decision made by our Board this week.

Unfortunately, a combination of low ticket sales and challenges meeting the venue's insurance requirements has made it impossible to proceed. The District of Elkford requires event organizers to provide their own designated driver program, and despite our efforts, we have been unable to find a group willing to commit to this responsibility in time.

What happens next?

🎟️ Everyone that purchased tickets will receive a refund.
🏆 We will be planning a private event at a later date to recognize our deserving award recipients, present their trophies, and give them the opportunity to take photos commemorating their achievements.

We are incredibly disappointed that we won't be able to celebrate our amazing local businesses together as planned. However, we remain committed to recognizing the outstanding businesses that make our community such a special place.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this causes and thank everyone who has supported the Business Awards and our local business community.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
