A Huge Thank You to Digital Main Street!
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Digital Main Street for their incredible support through the Digital Economy Program. This grant has been a game-changer for my small business, empowering me to enhance my website and create digital assets that have significantly improved my online presence.
Their guidance extended far beyond the grant. They offered invaluable advice on social media strategies and other online tools, helping me navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape for small businesses.
Thanks to their support, I feel more confident in showcasing my products and connecting with customers, whether through my website, social media, or other digital platforms.

After receiving a surprising diagnosis Melanie discovered a new passion that turned into a small business.
“I started my creative adventure with knitwear, which was my way of slowing down after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder - Hashimoto's Disease. From there, I dabbled in foil stickers and sublimation products, but the real game-changer came when a friend introduced me to the magical world of 3D printing. I dove in headfirst and never looked back. What can I say? I’m hooked!” said Melanie. Her business, MSquared Shoppe makes household items, toys and other creative products.
Melanie continued “I aimed to expand my business and achieve financial self-sufficiency through it. Recognizing the transformative potential of my products for many individuals, I sought opportunities to facilitate this growth. I discovered the Digital Economy Program, which assisted me in revitalizing my website and has been instrumental in guiding my initial progress.”
Speaking to the results of the program Melanie says “I successfully established my social media presence, including setting up an effective Instagram profile and optimizing my Google Business listing to enhance visibility for potential customers. This setup has significantly improved my online accessibility and engagement.”
When we asked Melanie what is next for MSquared Shoppe, they said “The potential to grow it, not just locally, but internationally too. And the hope to opening up my own brick-and-mortar location, including offering spaces to other local makers to display their items.”
