Rest in Perfection Gloria Steinem

This one touches my heart.

My strength as a woman, a business owner and a community leader did not come from me alone. I stand on the shoulders of women who came before me... women who challenged the rules, found their voices, opened doors and then held those doors open for the next woman.

Gloria Steinem was one of those women!

At 62, I understand more than ever that growing older isn't about becoming quieter. It's about knowing who you are, what you stand for and realizing you no longer need permission to use your voice.

Perhaps that's why her words make me smile:

“Women grow radical with age.”

Here's to the grey-haired women who keep showing up, speaking up, lifting others and making a difference.

Thank you, Gloria, for helping pave the road so many of us now walk.
