CALLING ALL MUSICIANS AND SINGERS EVERYWHERE!!
Forgive me for the short notice, but...WE NEED YOU!! More importantly, the WORLD needs YOU to SING!! Let me explain...
I recently learned about this annual event that's been happening on the last Saturday in August since 2014. It started as an idea that has grown into a Worldwide Musical Movement, quickly spreading across 1000's of Cities in over 70 Countries!
"A day for everything to stop, so everyone can listen to the music" 🎶 What an idea!!
We have a Stage in our Wild West Market Square, and we would LOVE to register and participate ALL DAY LONG!! Here's our problem...
We built a Stage...but we don't play any instruments, we only know the words to one song, and we need someone else to play the guitar even for that!!
Can YOU HELP US??
It's a really pretty Stage With No Name, and it's happily housed some of the most amazing Musicians and Singers already!! We will be powered up with an amp to plug into and an extra mic or 2 too, just in case...AND!!
We can guarantee lots of audiences that day, because it just happens to fall on AUG.29th in the middle of our fully booked Market AND on a day full of Hilltop Sheepdog Trials & Other Townwide Shenanigans!!
Now, even if you can't make it to Mankota to join our Market Party, you can still participate!!
Play Music on the Porch Day has a FB Page and a website on their poster below. So you can register your Music, wherever in the World you're able to play it!! Playing on your porch counts!!
ANYONE can also print any of their posters to hang all over your own Communities. GRASSROOTS STYLE!!
How sweet would it be to actually be able to STOP and LISTEN while the whole World SINGS??
