When I decided to put myself first everything changed.
It’s not how it may sound.
Hear me out.....my entire life, I glided through the motions.
Even down to the job I was given, that I ended up staying at…
One thing I learned to be true, when you don’t choose and it chooses you, it doesn't matter if it’s a relationship, a job, the opportunity of a lifetime…. really , it doesn't mean a lick.
I sat down and asked myself the tough questions “Am I ok with how things are? 20 years from now. Will this be alright? Will it be enough?
The answer had to be no. In an awakening moment in time, flashed the consequences of a life going on the path I was taking, and it looked pretty grim if I was being honest.
What I have learned in 4 years about myself is I can do whatever I want, but the key is, I HAVE to want it.
And I like to be in the driver's seat.
At the same time you must relinquish control if you want real growth.
Partnering is a given when you have the same vision for the future or at least the same mindset.
Grateful for the people I have met along the way, people who see what I don’t have to explain… who want it like I do.
