Does earning more always have to mean having less time for family?

I’ve been thinking about this lately.

So many moms and grandmoms are already carrying a full plateβ€”family responsibilities, school activities, household expenses, helping children or grandchildren, relationships, and all the little things that somehow become our responsibility.

And then the cost of everyday life keeps going up.

So naturally, the thought comes:

β€œMaybe I need some extra income.”

But then another thought follows:

β€œWhere am I going to find the time?”

I understand that tension.

Because wanting to contribute more financially doesn't necessarily mean wanting another job, another commute, another schedule to manage, or more time away from the people we love.

I've come to believe that the better question isn't simply:

β€œHow can I earn more?”

Maybe it's also:

β€œIs there a way to create additional income that respects the life I'm already living?”

I don't think we should have to automatically choose between being financially responsible and being present for our families.

I'm still learning what that can look like, and I'm curious about how other moms and grandmoms see it.

What do you thinkβ€”should earning more always require sacrificing more family time?

If this is something you've been thinking about too, I'd genuinely enjoy hearing your perspective. ❀️

πŸš€ The reason I started this business had nothing to do with money...

It began with purpose.

I wanted to continue growing.

To keep learning.

To encourage others who thought they had missed their opportunity.

If my journey gives even one person hope...

It's worth sharing.

πŸš€ If you're struggling with self-doubt...

Try asking yourself this instead:

"What if this actually works?"

That one question changed how I approached learning.

Instead of focusing on what could go wrong...

I started imagining what could go right.

Sometimes hope begins with a better question.

❀️ Has one question ever changed your perspective?

πŸš€ Tell me I'm not the only one who...
..used to think learning technology was only for younger people.

There was a time I felt overwhelmed every time I heard words like funnels, automation, or online marketing.

Now I smile because I've learned that it's never about age.

It's about being willing to learn one small step at a time.

If I can continue learning in my 80s, maybe someone reading this today can too.

❀️ You're never too old to learn something that could change your future.

πŸš€ A reminder that growth doesn't always look dramatic...

Sometimes growth looks like...

βœ” Asking questions.

βœ” Trying again.

βœ” Posting even when you're nervous.

βœ” Learning one new skill.

Those little victories eventually become big transformations.

❀️ What's one thing you're better at today than you were six months ago?

πŸš€ Today I finally...
..finished something that used to intimidate me.

It wasn't perfect.

But it was done.

And that's progress.

I've learned that confidence doesn't appear before action.

It grows because of action.

Small wins deserve celebrating too.

πŸŽ‰ What's one small win you're proud of this week?

πŸš€ Can I ask you something?

If someone offered to mentor you in one area of your life, what would you choose?

πŸ’¬ Building an online business?

πŸ’¬ Creating an additional income stream?

πŸ’¬ Learning new digital skills?

πŸ’¬ Becoming more confident with technology?

πŸ’¬ Something completely different?

I'm always curious because every person's journey is unique.

πŸš€ The hardest part about starting something new...
..isn't learning new skills.

It's wondering whether you're capable.

I understand that feeling.

I've questioned myself too.

I've wondered if I was too old.

Too late.

Too inexperienced.

But confidence didn't come first.

Taking one small step did.

If this is where you are today...

Please know you're not alone.

❀️ What's one challenge you're working through right now?

08/04/2026

πŸš€ Finish this sentence...

"If I had started learning online business five years earlier, I would have __________."

For me...

I probably would have spent less time worrying about whether I was "good enough."

The truth is...

Most of us don't regret trying.

We regret waiting.

Every journey starts with one decision.

πŸš€ 3 lessons I'm learning about building a business through relationships instead of popularity.

Success isn't about becoming famous.

It's about becoming helpful.

Here are three lessons I'm applying every day:

βœ… People appreciate being heard more than being persuaded.

Listening builds trust faster than talking.

βœ… Consistency creates confidence.

Showing up regularly allows people to know who you are and what you stand for.

βœ… Helping first creates lasting relationships.

When your first goal is to serve, opportunities naturally follow.

These lessons have helped me focus less on social media algorithms and more on human connections.

Business grows when relationships grow.

❀️ Question:
Which lesson do you think is the most important?
