As our Silversea cruise winds down I’m reminded this cruise was just a way to get to the real trip! Yes, more pleasant than a long flight. No, other than food quality, not really as superior as they would claim to be. After a great day in Funchal can’t wait to get to Lisbon and start the real adventure!

So. Luxury cruise. Expensive suite. You know how on even mainstream ships when you upgrade to a nicer deck/room/suite you get a beach bag or the like. Silversea gives this (see photo) seriously we have had better amenity bags on airplanes than this😳 edited to add: since we are travelling after we had no room for a beach bag so with none furnished we have to way to schlep our stuff to the pool deck😂😂😂
