Today, while watching Sunday service, ’ message reminded me that “Greatness doesn’t go on sale. It costs what it costs.”

Being delayed is frustrating, especially for the creative type, however, it does not mean that you've been denied.

Put in the work now. Let it compound. Win the long game. Save it. Share it. Believe it.

Motherhood is a beast nothing could have prepared me for. I thought my life pre-children was busy. I was an entrepreneur after all. How mistaken I was. 🤣

Being a mom and a full-time entrepreneur has challenged me in ways I didn't think were possible.

I naively thought I could balance it all. Wrong! Balance is a myth. Juggling is more accurate. I juggle to the best of my abilities. 🤹🏾‍♀️

The truth is, I drop the ball once in a while and that's life. I just make sure to not drop the same ball.

This picture was taken during the podcast launch of pre-COVID. Here I was, juggling a glass of wine, paying attention to my then 2yo and socializing with the guests.

This is only a snapshot of what goes down behind the scenes, to make things happen. Staying the course is equally intense and rewarding.

Motherhood isn't the only thing that turns us into master jugglers. If you're dealing with a lot right now, stop scrolling and do this: ⬇️
1. Take three deep breaths.
2. Remind yourself of one awesome thing you did.
3. Give yourself the grace to just be for a few moments.

I love being a mom and I love being a creator. The work never ends but the love is unconditional and that makes it all worth it.

May this post inspire you to find the grace and strength to overcome whatever hurdle is staring you down.👊🏾
