When international productions touch down in Montreal, navigating the local landscape is where the real work begins! 🎬 🏎 🏁

We recently stepped up as the local partner and co-production relay for London’s OH-SIX agency to deliver the Montreal F1 Grand Prix episode of their hit series, The Secret Concierge II. COMET Media handled the heavy lifting and assembling an amazing local crew, organizing technical gear, and managing a fluid schedule so our UK creative partners could focus on capturing the magic in our city! ✨

It was an absolute incredible experience achieving total symbiosis between both teams. 🇬🇧 🤝 🇨🇦

A decade ago, GENESIS took its first breath as a Cine-concert opening for the Course des régions at Festival Regard

There is a specific magic in seeing images of the Saguenay wilderness projected at scale, accompanied by live music with CEM. It was the culmination of seasons spent in the wild, enduring the elements to capture the intersection of nature and the cosmos.

10 YEARS OF GENESIS. 🌌

Some milestones stay with you forever. It has been 10 years since our experimental short film, GENESIS, had its premiere as the opening of the Course des régions at the REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival.

This project wasn't just a film; it was a 3-year odyssey of passion and experimentation. It brought together a global team across Canada, France, China, and the U.S. to capture a vision of our connection to nature and the cosmos.

Looking back at these BTS photos, we are reminded of the incredible energy of the cast and crew who helped turn a spark of an idea into a non-verbal cinematic journey. Proud of where we started, and even more excited for where we are going.

Ce projet nous a permis d'aller à la rencontre de figures marquantes de la communauté antillaise au Québec : de l'énergie académique à l'UdeM et Concordia jusqu'aux parcours d'entrepreneurs et cadres établis. New Year from Comet Media! 🎉

2025 was a pivotal year for us. We deepened our roots right here in Quebec while simultaneously expanding our lens internationally... As we are stepping into 2026, our vision is clear: telling impactful stories, whether they are local or global.

So, here is a quick snapshot of our journey:

We are proud to continue as official photographers for the Alfred-Pellan gallery at the Maison des arts de Laval capturing the magic of community art (check out some favorites below!).

We broadened into documentary and JRI video, contributing footage to some France Télévisions Group programs illustrating realities in French Overseas Territories.

And yes... our Passion Projects: Behind the scenes, our independent Brazil documentary is in post-production with our team across Canada and France, and we are developing a new portrait series, "Comet Meet the Artist."
