Proud to share the June 2026 issue of Neighbours of Stonehaven.

This month’s feature story highlights The Stevens Family in “A Story of Creativity, Passion, and Community.”

Jean’s story is a beautiful reminder of what makes our local community so special — creativity, family, travel, giving back, and staying curious through every chapter of life.

One of my favourite parts from the feature was her message:

“Just keep exploring, whether it’s places, people, or experiences. Stay inquisitive and embrace new things.”

That is exactly the kind of spirit we love sharing through Neighbours of Stonehaven.

This month I had the privilege of being featured in Neighbours of Stonehaven.

I didn’t write about real estate.

I wrote about growth.

About integrity.�About ownership.�About becoming the best version of yourself — especially when no one is watching.

We live in a time where information is everywhere. The real difference isn’t access.

It’s honesty.

Honesty about where we need to improve.�Honesty about the standards we hold ourselves to.�Honesty about whether our actions match who we say we want to become.

I’m not at a finish line. I’m still building. Still learning. Still growing.

But I know one thing for certain:

Character will always outlast shortcuts.�

✨ Meet Jazmin Galvez ✨

💛Our February feature and cover star, and a beautiful reminder of what happens when someone chooses to pour love back into the place that raised them.
Jazmin is not loud about what she does, but her impact is. Like a quiet light in familiar streets, she helps people see what has always been there. The cafés we pass, the small businesses built on courage, the corners of our town filled with heart.

With nothing more than her voice, her phone, and a genuine love for Newmarket, Jazmin has become a bridge. A bridge between local businesses and new faces. Between everyday places and meaningful stories. Between our town and the wider world watching from the other side of the screen.

What she does goes far beyond content. She gives visibility to dreams. She opens doors that might otherwise go unnoticed. She reminds us that beauty doesn’t always live far away. Sometimes it’s right outside our front door.

After moving to Newmarket as a teenager, Jazmin built her life around helping others. Through her education, her work supporting seniors, and now through the way she shows up for her community, she leads with empathy and care. What began as a creative outlet has grown into something rare. A platform rooted in kindness, pride, and belonging.

There is something special about seeing your own town through the eyes of someone with a heart of gold. Jazmin doesn’t just document places, she honours them. She turns everyday moments into invitations. Invitations to slow down, to look again, to support the people who make our community what it is.

And while she is helping those who live here rediscover how special this place is, she is also showing the world. Showing what Newmarket is really about. The warmth. The creativity. The people.

Supporting local isn’t a trend for Jazmin. It’s personal. It’s home.

She isn’t just creating content. She’s quietly building community, one story, one business, one post at a time.

This journey is only getting started, with so much more to give, and it’s one worth being part of and watching unfold.

I’m pleased to share that I’ve started a new position as a Sales Representative with eXp Realty.

I’m approaching this next chapter with a strong and continuing focus on authenticity, clear communication, and long-term relationships. Real estate is ultimately built on trust, and I believe the work should always be done with care, transparency, and respect for the people involved.

I’m grateful for the experiences and relationships that have led me here, and I look forward to continuing to build meaningful connections as I move forward.
