We May Be Back - We May Never Be Back - Time Will Tell

There are many factors for us to consider, there's only so much noise a page like ours can make - but when the end results are the same, (The Liberals Won A Majority Government) - then it may be time to move on.

Many of us want to do other things as individuals (Ie start new pages), while others just want to move on. The Liberals have Ruled for 11 Straight Years - sometimes you can't fix stupid. Majority Governments are not in the best interest of Canada.

There's nothing left for us to look forward as Canadians - it's shameful that we as Canadians don't agree that the future bleak. We need to vote for a government that will make things better for the next generation - not worse.

In 1949 - The Zamboni Changed Ice Hockey Forever

Frank Joseph Zamboni Jr., born on January 16, 1901, in Eureka, Utah, developed the first ice resurfacing machine in 1949 to efficiently maintain ice rinks. Before this invention, resurfacing ice was a labor-intensive process involving manual scraping, washing, and flooding. Zamboni’s machine combined these steps into a single operation, shaving the ice, collecting the shavings, and laying down a thin layer of water to create a smooth surface.

The first prototype was built using a modified army surplus Jeep chassis, a hydraulic cylinder from a military plane, and a wooden bin to collect ice shavings. Zamboni applied for a patent in 1949, which was granted in 1953 as U.S. Patent No. 2,642,679 titled "Ice Rink Resurfacing Machine". The invention allowed one person to resurface an entire rink in about 15 minutes, revolutionizing ice maintenance and making it practical for commercial and recreational rinks.

Following the success of the prototype, Zamboni established the Frank J. Zamboni & Co. in 1950 in Paramount, California, to manufacture and sell the machines. The Zamboni quickly became the standard for ice resurfacing worldwide, gaining international recognition after its use in events like the 1960 Winter Olympics. Today, the Zamboni machine remains synonymous with ice rink maintenance, with thousands of units in operation globally
