💡 Marketing and Advertising aren’t the same thing, here’s why it matters!

While they often go hand in hand, marketing is about building long-term relationships and trust, while advertising focuses on getting quick results through paid promotions.

👉 Marketing = storytelling, education, trust, and long-term growth
👉 Advertising = persuasion, product promotion, and short-term ROI

📌 Example 1: A real estate agent shares weekly tips about buying your first home — that's marketing.
📌 Example 2: That Facebook ad offering “50% off for new clients”, that’s advertising.

Both are important, but knowing the difference helps you choose the right strategy for your goals.

I realized many of us tend to believe we have 'strong' communication skills until we are trapped in a situation that reveals our skills are not as strong as we thought. Different job positions and organizational levels may experience a greater need to develop strong leadership and communication abilities. 💙
