I just want to thank the community of Sooke for all your support and generosity.
I started Meanwhile in Sooke 11 years ago because I was new to the community and didn't know anyone. I have met so many amazing people during my time here in Sooke, it's the kindness and generosity that make Sooke such an incredible community..
Thank you also for supporting Meanwhile in Sooke and the yearly Holiday Food Bank Challenge fundraiser for the Sooke Food Bank. We collectively raised $100 thousand for the food bank over the span of 11 years.
I couldn’t do this without the help of all of you!
I have moved away from Sooke and don't feel comfortable continuing with it if I don't even live in the community anymore.
It was a life changing experience here in Sooke.
