A little bit of a story of how we got here....
About two years ago I started this page and my Etsy shop. I started off designing logos and instagram templates, and had planned to move on to many more types of templates.
About a year ago is when I decided to give the shop a break, as I've found it difficult to juggle many things at once; but had planned to come back to it when I was able to dedicate more time to it.
In September 2023, I tried to log into my Etsy shop and found that there was no Etsy shop to log into. There was....but it was no longer mine.
My logo, full legal name and shop name were being used by a hacker who now sold nail decals there.
I contacted Etsy, and there was not much help being offered. They directed me to try "another email address" to log into my shop, but there was only one email, and the shop clearly being used by someone else (why would they use my email). No investigation was started and Etsy took no further action.
I was heartbroken for months but I did not let that stop me. No hacker or careless shopping platform could stop me from doing the things I love to do - Create!!
So moving forward I will be on Etsy as ShopDezignbyPetra. And welcome to my reopening!!! ✨✨
