Dear Dream Clients 🌠

It's only a matter of time before you and I connect and collaborate together to create the brand and business you've been dreaming of that's built on values and a deep purpose of positively impacting people's lives.

I recently came across a post that inspired me to create a "Dear Dream Clients" list that you can see above. But in order to work with Dream Clients like this, it's good to know a few things first...

You need to know your ideal client – like through and through. You need to know their needs, their market, understand their purpose, know their competitors, identify any gaps in their industry and bridge together their strategy and business to form a well-thought out plan of marketing action.

Dear Dream Clients, I know you have a heart of gold and you are phenomenal at what you do. But building a brand based on strategy was never something you were taught traditionally in school or anything you've learned during your entrepreneurial journey.

I know that some people may see your services and business as a "luxury" item in life but we can we work together to bust through those objections and address them in a way that shows your client that this is not luxury item at all but a basic human essential need.

I know your services and business can change someone's life but you need help aligning your brand visually and strategically to draw in your dream clients/customers/audience your way so you can grow a business that stands out but also doesn't follow the trends.

That every brand is very unique in who it serves, what its values are, how its customers come into contact with them, and how the brand uses its platform to educate its audience.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

No ONE brand is the same, nor should a designer approach a brand using the same paintbrush (or in my case, using the same Pen Tool lol). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Because I know that I do! I started to think about what I often hear others say about working on the weekend because of my rotating shift schedule working in the hospital - weekends ARE when I generally work!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Before you ever see the outcome of the branding project here, there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. Even for one logo or mockup design, these are three steps I always take.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. I sit down with the client on a 90-minute brand strategy call. This brand strategy call is LIFE CHANGING. I had a client tell me that the process of our brand strategy was "cathartic" and it provided her with the most clarity she's ever had in her business. Like. Seriously—it's brand strategy, counselling & business coaching all wrapped up into one pretty package. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. I take some time to process the day's strategy session and get a feel for the direction of the visuals, color scheme, typography, and mockup presentation. This probably is the part of the branding stage that carries a great deal of pressure but it's something that I love to do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. I take all that we've collaborated on and put it together for the client to review. I make some tweaks according to their preferences & make sure the client feels comfortable with the next stages. As I continue on, I am always in communication with the client - doesn't matter how big or small, clarity is SO IMPORTANT. I feel this is something that nursing has taught me so well and it's what I try to bring into my business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even though this background work doesn’t get as much glory, it’s so important to me because it’s how I show up for my clients in a meaningful way & it allows me to put my special touch on the work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is a question that a lot of people tend to ask when it comes to using Pinterest as part of their marketing for their business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've talked about this before but the Pinterest algorithm HAS changed. You, as a creator/business owner/influencer/marketer, need to be creating more "fresh content" or images per piece of content.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I create images for clients, I usually create 20-30 unique Pinterest graphics. Yes, that is a lot depending on their goal but it's what's important if you want to see the growth of your account.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although there is no magic number of how many pins should be posted per day because every niche is different, you should get creative when designing your graphics - hence, I turned one of my graphics into a mood board. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love creating & experimenting with different templates, call-to-actions, animations, videos, and idea pins (formerly known as Story Pins) to see what my Pinterest audience likes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Many times mood boards are created during the branding process, but I thought, hey – why not turn one for my blog post into a moodboard? I kind of like the idea of creating a blog mood board that evokes the emotion of what I had written :)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As with anything, Pinterest marketing is trial & error but I'm kind of digging this blog post mood board thing 🌠. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
