Visualize The Surprise | On The Essence of Data Storytelling
Back in 1977, long before personal computers were democratized and visualization techniques flourished, mathematician John Tukey put it loudly in his "Exploratory Data Analysis" book:
"The greatest value of a picture is when it forces us to notice what we never expected to see."
Still, infographics can illustrate everything we already know in a creative, surprising way,
BUT.. making that one unexpected value & takeaway pop up? That's even more insightful and.. Strategic!

Augmented Reality: Not Enough | The Reality About Canadian Market. loudly slammed by Statistics Canada in its latest report to date: 3.2% businesses had taken advantage of that edge-cutting yet available technology in "producing goods or delivering services over the last 12 months" leading up to July 2025, versus 2.6% the year before (same period).
Yes, Augmented Reality may be not for everyone, but still, such a figure depicts a lack of audacity, or creativity, or both..

Artificial Intelligence Vs. Our Cognitive Abilities | Up & Down
Our fate is the aggregate of our habits hardened into beliefs, for instance: Expecting AI to do everything for us - which is legitimate, while dismissing the unmatched potential our already under exploited, undermined brains..
Researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) led by scientist Nataliya Kosmyna established that "there was much less activation in the areas corresponding to creativity and to processing information” after having processed "electroencephalograms to monitor the brains of students while they were writing short, deliberately open-ended essays." Here are the alarming findings in detail:

Perfection Reframed | By A Writer For Fellow Creatives
Let's keep it short and sweet:
“Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
Poet and journalist Antoine de Saint-Exupery once said.
Today's communication is no different: Whether you're into designing, copywriting, or simple prospecting emails, that golden rule still applies, caring about your audience's limited time.. and happy returns

Everyone Seeks Attention | And Then Reciprocates
That universal, perpetual law of human nature was acknowledged and emphasized by Dale Carnegie, renowned for his works on networking and leadership:
“You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.” – from his book "How To Win Friends and Influence People"
What about your ongoing or upcoming campaign or even branding efforts? How much do they resonate with your ideal customers? What if you put yourself in their shoes for a second?

Yes, We Can(not) | Always
Let's pause at this timeless statement and reminder left by Henry Ford:
“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.”
Simply put, we constantly carry our dreams, purpose, resources, as well as fears and pursuit of comfort.
Ford was renowned for having ignited a revolution within the industrial revolution, being "credited as a pioneer in making automobiles affordable for middle-class Americans".
Back in time, cars were out of budget, beyond dreams.. Yet, he had a dream and believed he could make it true!

Anecdata | Nonexistent
No doubt, we better learn from stories happening here and there. They can be unusual, sensational, memorable, but they will never be enough to draw the full picture and even less.. conclusions! Economist Roger Brinner put it plainly: "The plural of anecdote is not data."
Let's do the math.. of uncertainty!

AI Agents: Trust Issues? Figures Said So
According to Statistics Canada 's most recent Analysis on AI, about one quarter (24.8%) of businesses used "virtual agents or chat bots in producing goods or delivering services over the last 12 months" prior to July 2025.
Beware, mistrust seems to lurk in the air! There was no progress despite the overhype around agentic AI, the percentage was 26.5% one year before.
If you help businesses to step in this age and automate their processes, you might need to.. educate them as well! I Isn't that your most irresistible sales practice?
