This was shot in the first year of my profession. Back then I remember, I was in desperate need of good models. I was eager to build my portfolio in order to proof my skills. And I didn’t find this model at an agency or a model site, but at a downtown bar. I remember she had quite a charisma and energy which was perfect 👍🏻

This photo captured less than a year ago was part of a shoot for the elegant & colourful scarves & shawls of . Usually models that I work with are about in their early 20s. But throughout the years, I find more age matured models gives off a certain charisma that can be greatly valued also, combined with their longer experience, I always find myself enjoying the shooting time with them which eventually have great results 😊

I’m back! Haven’t posted in awhile as wedding season is greatly upon me. Here I’d like to share with you a shot from my second time shooting at Fairmont. The lighting was all natural from the window so there was no need for artificial lighting, which was one of the firsts inside a hotel atmosphere. Makeup & hair, model and the crew were all amazing that day! 👏👏👏

Captured before the pandemic in Toronto. This was the first time I used non professional models for my editorial shoot. And guess what? They were my past wedding clients 😀 I found that they were suitable for the shoot and they really did a wonderful job, which I think in some areas, they were even better than my professional models 👍🏻

This was a bridal portraiture captured during the pandemic at the studio before it was relocated. I would think that everything looked pretty good here except the way the veil flowed on her, could have done better but with the time I had, it was probably the best we could do. And I remember she had one of the best expressions 😊

Captured at the end of the pandemic on the busy streets of Yorkville with stylish clothing from The coat’s colour just extravagantly pop doesn’t it? I remember scouting the area for a good contrast of colour that was suitable, it was cold but model was focusing so well and clothing was so nice, I soon forgot the chilly weather and focused eagerly to get some perfect shots 😊

Shot before the pandemic, it’s one of my favourite shots of a seldom male model. If you’ve noticed, I rarely shoot male models as my fashion clients usually sell women’s apparel and in the wedding industry, it’s the bride that wants most of the spotlight. Andrew was very comfortable to shoot and could do what I required showing his years of modeling experience.

Shot very early in my career at one of the makeup artist’s home. This shoot served as a portfolio shoot which got me the fashion clients I have now 😊 All makeup artists, hair stylists & models used these photos also as a well deserved portfolio of their own. Shot before the pandemic and re-edited with EKC filters. This was my first attempt at editorial bo***ir photography! It was a portfolio project with other vendors and one of the best shoots shot before this studio closed down. And not bad for hiring a random model at Model Mayhem we thought! 😀
