I had such a great time at the Grand Opening of April Vets Cambridge this weekend.

I was there providing live embroidery, personalizing pet bandanas with the names of some very cute dogs. Honestly, one of my favourite parts was seeing the reactions from pet owners when they got to watch their pet's bandana being embroidered right in front of them.

I met so many wonderful people, lots of furry friends, and even had the opportunity to meet Connie Cody, MP for Cambridge.

What made the day even more special was knowing that the event was also supporting Safe Paws Animal Rescue. It's always nice when a community event brings people together while supporting a great cause.

Events like this are why I love offering live embroidery. It's more than just adding a name to an item. It creates a personalized experience, gives people something memorable to take home, and adds a unique touch to any event.

As a female founder, I spent the day walking into local businesses, introducing myself, and pitching my embroidery services face to face. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but building a business means showing up even when it feels uncomfortable.
