I've had a Bell Small Business account for over 20 years. To cut costs, I was in discussions with Bell to switch to a residential line. I asked several times if there would be a penalty fee, "there is no penalty". Prior to the switchover, I called back to confirm that there would be no penalty fee, "[as of one business day ago], there is now a $25 per service per month penalty fee for the remainder of the contract".
