Know Your Customers
When it comes to writing your ad copy
Marketers think there are combinations of words that only copywriters know that magically compel people to buy.
Thinking this way is a mistake because
๐ it slows you down
๐ it stops you from testing
๐ it distracts you from whatโs important
And it ends up costing more than it would have if you had just hired a copywriter in the first place.
Are there formulas?โฆ yes!
Power verbs and proven headlines combos?... sure!
And will hiring a copywriter give you better results than you trying to write your own copy?โฆ probably!
But copy is not the cake.
Itโs the icing
If you have a sh*tty offer
The copy wonโt matter.
And if you have a great offer.
The copy still wonโt matter.
Copy will only amplify whatโs working.
But it canโt fix something thatโs broken!
If youโre not getting sales
Start with your audience.
Then craft an offer around solving one of their problems.
Communicate the problem your customers are dealing with in detail.
Tell them how your offer can help.
Remove some risk.
Add some scarcity.
And you're good ๐
Once youโve validated your offer and made some sales
Then you can hire a copywriter to amplify your results!
P.S. If you want a 5-point checklist that we use to make any offers irresistible, comment โoffer,โ and Iโll fire it off to you.
