Pleased to see in Lisbon the impressive 7m tall by Canadian artist and activist Benjamin Von Wong, supported by the Embassy of Canada among other donors.

The installation aims to raise awareness of single-use plastics pollution and their effect on the environment, particularly the Oceans. It is displayed outside the Oriente train station at Parque das Nações, where the Ocean Conference is taking place this week.

We are pleased to have Canada’s Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Hon. Joyce Murray, here in Lisbon leading Canada’s delegation to this important Conference.
