Design is strategic, precise, visual storytelling with a purpose.
But both rely on form, colour, rhythm, and iteration. Both aim to connect –whether it’s a felted piece that sparks joy, or a brand’s logo that tells a story at a glance.
Combining them in my own practice has deepened my understanding of both. One grounds me. The other sharpens me.
Design can feel human. Art can serve a purpose. You don’t have to choose one path. Create at the intersection. That’s where the magic lives.
