USPS has run its Household Mail Survey every year since 1987, tracking roughly 5,200 households and every piece of mail they send and receive over a week. It's one of the longest-running, most detailed behavioral studies on mail in existence.
Most businesses still guess at how people actually treat their mail. The companies investing more heavily in the channel are the ones reading that research instead of guessing.
They are using that behavioral data to decide format, timing, and message, then adding QR codes, landing pages, and call tracking to measure the result.
The advantage is not access to more mail. It is access to decades of data on how mail actually gets opened, read, and acted on.
Dropmail Co. plans, targets, designs, prints, and delivers direct mail campaigns for businesses across the U.S. Direct mail built around measurable customer acquisition.
