It's time to see what other businesses like ours are doing.

Some of you might not really want to do this, but trust me, it's super helpful. We can learn a lot by looking at what works for them and what doesn't.

For example, think about the category you chose for your business on Google. I bet it's not something you've thought about much since you first started your business. But, choosing the wrong main category could really mess up how easily people can find us online.

If you've already picked the right main category, great! But have you added any secondary categories? Doing this can really boost where we show up in search results, making us stand out more than our competitors.

Wondering which secondary categories to choose? Just spend a few minutes checking out what categories your competitors are using and pick the 1-3 that fit your business best.

This small step, along with a few other tweaks to your Google My Business profile, can make a big difference in getting noticed online.
