I've recently had the pleasure of redesigning katiedear.co.uk website, and this was such a fun and rewarding project.

A redesign isn’t always about doing more — sometimes it’s about doing things more intentionally.

Katie’s previous website no longer reflected the quality, care, and expertise she brings to her clients. It felt outdated, wasn’t converting, and didn’t truly represent her work.

The new site is softer, more modern, and far more informative — with improved navigation, a better mobile experience, and a clear strategy behind every page. Most importantly, it now reflects the calm, grounded support Katie offers women navigating hair loss, alopecia, and chemotherapy.

When a client feels proud to share their website again, that’s when you know the strategy worked 🤍

Wow, 2025 went by so fast!

I became a grandma, moved from the UK to Canada, and expanded our home, hearts (and wallet) to a sassy Siberian Husky who is the star of my favorite Christmas picture this year.

Were you affected by the CloudFlare outage yesterday?

CloudFlare is a hosting platform to host websites, so you might have seen this error when trying to see someone's website... or god forbid, your own website. But this also affected some functionality. Even if your website wasn't hosted on this platform, you might have noticed some glitches.

This was not malicious or a cyber attack of any kind. They made a change to their database that resulted in files being duplicated, which ended up crashing their system.

Thankfully, my hosting is on SiteGround, so my accounts were not impacted. Whew! I'm sure I would have had a heart attack if I woke up and ALL my websites were gone. Haha. Cheers to that!!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update — and for good reason! Over the past year, I made a big move from the UK to Canada and took some time to refocus on what I love most about my work.

I’ve also expanded my services to include Website Strategy as a stand-alone offer — perfect for businesses who aren't getting the results they want from their websites. While AI is changing how many people build websites, I’ve found that human insight and personal connection still make all the difference.

So here’s to fresh starts, thoughtful strategy, and websites that actually move the bar with a human touch.

My personal favorite is Benjamin Moore. Their colors are always rich and comfortable. They just released their 2015 colors, and I'm in love!
