Those who know me won’t believe it but…
Tomorrow I start my 6th season tree planting.
Something I swore up and down that I would never ever do ever again, I sold my gear, and I walked away from it 5 years ago.
I never minded the act of planting trees. The long days, bugs, rain, hot, cold, whatever. That part was fine.
I wasn’t a fan of the bush camp lifestyle… when I found a company that works out of Golden and allows me to go home every night I was immediately interested.
After two springs working as a mailman and driving past the planters at the mill on my way to and from work, I finally applied. Tree planting with the same hours as being a mailman and I can go home every night? Sign me up.
Let’s see how it goes returning to something at 30, that I started when I was 20. 😂🌲
