This morning I woke to a message from my Mother wishing my sisters and me a happy International Women’s Day. It felt like a small blessing to start the day and made me pause in gratitude.

My mind wandered through the circle of women in my life — the accomplished women, the women still becoming, my family, cousins, and dear friends. Some carry heavy responsibilities, some walk lighter paths, yet each of them moves through the world with her own quiet strength.

I thought about the grace women hold. The deep knowing that lives in our bones. The resilience that has been passed from woman to woman, generation to generation.

There is a sacred thread that runs through us all.

Connection.
Community.
Sisterhood.

It is in gathering, in listening, and in lifting one another when the road is hard that women remember their power. When we come together with compassion, we do more than survive — we help one another rise.

Today my heart especially turns to the women living in places of war and conflict — women who wake each day fearful, exhausted, and still fiercely protecting their children. Mothers holding their families together through uncertainty and loss. I see you. I feel you. I am holding you in my heart and sending you light and love.

And I also honor the women who do not wish to walk beside me. Even there, I trust there is a lesson, a mirror, and a quiet opportunity for grace.

Today I honor the women who came before me, the women walking beside me, the women who walk different paths, and the women still finding their way.

💛 I’ve Felt Lost… Until Now 💛

For years, I poured my energy into helping others grow their businesses, their voices, their visions… while quietly feeling something wasn’t right in my own life.

There were moments I cried in my car, wondering:
“Is this all there is? Am I living my truth? Am I showing my kids the courage to follow their own hearts?”
The whispers started softly at first: “There’s more. You were meant for more.”

Then they grew louder. The universe kept showing me the way — signs, messages, nudges — and I flat out ignored it. I kept thinking, “Not now. Maybe later. I’ll figure it out.”

But the calling didn’t stop. And eventually, the fear of not following my purpose became louder than the fear of judgment.
Yes… I was scared. Scared of being judged. Scared of leaving behind what felt “safe.” But stepping into this spiritual work is my soul saying yes to my life — and I refuse to hide anymore.

I want growth. I want honesty. I want grace.

Ok peeps here’s another “uncomfortable” question I gotta answer…’What is something I 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 about myself?’

I grew up with a very diverse group of friends. In high school, I hung out with the popular kids, the skids, the jocks, the nerds, the band geeks ~ 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄. I genuinely enjoyed meeting and connecting with all walks of life.

It was a subconscious skill that I used all the time without knowing it. It wasn’t until I was given a personality assessment that I realized I was social with everyone.

So here it is … I love that I 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘. I will be friends with you if you smile back at me. I don’t care who ya are or where ya came from if you gove me the time of day, I reciprocate. I dont care what you like like or who you love, I’m going to connect with you and most likely become a friend.

I remember a lesson I learned when I was serving at a sushi place in my 30’s. This woman came in and was severely Disabled. Tara was confined to a wheelchair and was only able to turn her head from side to side. She could speak but it took me a while to understand what she was saying. Tara would take her care aide out for lunch to sushi every other week so we got know each other. It was a bit uncomfortable at first being patient and serving them. But you know what? We ended up becoming good friends! We would get each other little gifts when they’d come in. She had the most beautiful personality and I realized one day that if I hadn’t made the effort to know Tara, I would’ve missed out on a beautiful.

Hiya 👋 Hey I need some new glasses. I got theses which are really comfortable, but it turns out I need progressives. I am near sighted which means when I look far it is blurry. However, my up-close vision is perfect. So when I’m wearing my glasses and I look at my phone to read a text, I have to take off my glasses 🤷‍♀️
