Pamela had been working in the field of Doula and Lactation specialist for quite some time and was originally called Sound Births. She felt that with the new direction she was headed in, that her name and branding just didn't quite feel right.

I've known Pamela for a few years now after working on some branding and marketing pieces for Sound Births, and after knowing her a bit more and following her journey online I had a pretty solid idea on the overall branding direction that Brim should go in.

The wordmark was fully hand drawn and I absolutely love the colour pallet - and just everything about the new look and feel. 👌❤️

☀️ Sonne - branding

A local brand that offers cleaning services, home organization, and decorating.

"The intention was to hone-in on high quality cleaning services as well as helping people create a lifestyle that promotes well being with a strong focus on slowing down, daydreaming, and creating a life made with intention."

Hannah over at was looking to launch her new brand, "Sonne" (the German word for Sun), back in June/July. I have been lucky to get to know Hannah over a few years, starting with her first branding project, Cumberland Cleaning Co. I have loved seeing all her amazing clothing and costume creations develop and expand in that time with and felt I knew the brand direction for Sonne right after chatting with Hannah - it just made sense.

Can't wait to see how Sonne grows! 🌷

Branding Refresh 🌻

This past Spring Thanu of reached out to update her overall branding. She wanted to elevate it slightly to reach a new audience, which was larger brands / magazines. Thanu wants to expand her services and feature more of her installation work while still keeping the roots of the farmers' market flowers and stunning wedding florals.

The brand refresh included a font update to the logo, along with multiple versions of the brand mark, to have a few more elements to play with. It also features a fresh colour pallet and, more importantly, a more creative, modern, and playful approach to her branding, graphics, and marketing material.

This was a fun one to put together! ❤️

Thanu wanted to continue the tarot card style illustrations but make it sunny and with all the local bees and flowers than signify a summers day on the west coast. It's pretty AND educational 👌

⚡️Branding for Proud mvmt

Mal (they/them) is a CPT and Kinesiologist based in the Comox Valley who specializes in pre - and post-op surgery training programs for the LGBTQ+ community and keen allies. With a focus on accessibility, education, and joyful movement, Proud mvmt offers structured programs and affirming social media content designed to empower, uplift, and educate.

I'm pretty stoked on how this one came together. Mal wears a lightening bolt necklace daily, and this fun lightening bolt mixed with an arrow pointing up just felt right.

Lightening bolt = energy, light/bright

Arrow ⬆️ = movement and moving in the right direction. "Leveling up"

Can't wait to see it all come together with what they have got planned ❤️
