I’ve learned it well enough as a fashion startup owner before covid, which crashed so hard during the pandemic that it left nothing but my apartment filled with products without any use.
A true nightmare for every owner.
If you are not a ma*****st, I presume that You want to avoid this stressful fate.
So I’m here to give you the biggest tip anyone has ever told you.
You are not selling a product, you are selling a solution to a given problem.
Let me repeat this:
You are not selling a product, you are selling a solution to a given problem!
In the fashion industry it might be a problem with elevating a status of a client by association with your brand, it might be a problem with durability, hell, it even might be a problem with ethical choices, because the purses that you are selling are made out of cork leather not pig leather!
This approach can be transferred to any different industry. Any single one.
Now I want you to lean back on your chair and close your eyes. Imagine yourself as your customer. Step into his shoes and think about what problem he might want to solve with your product.
Okay now open your eyes. Do you see the approach that you can take?
