Happy Holidays!

This year has been full of highs and lows. And had ended with a never ending cold (5 weeks and still kicking my butt!)

It’ll be quiet from me for the next few days as I take time to unwind with family (or get them all sick, either is possible 🤭🫣). And I hope you get to enjoy your holidays too.

Who doesn’t like shareable content? I know I sure don’t.

Shareable content is relatable, it’s memorable, it’s the cornerstone of your content strategy.

It’s the HERO of your story.

While HUB and HELP content are meant to give your audience information they need, HERO is the information they want.

It’s the results. It’s the expertise. It’s what helps them take that step from audience to dream client.

I know this all sounds good, but do you know what that looks like for your business?

Hero content can be:

Case studies
White papers
Tutorials
Problem solving how-tos.

These will drive traffic, tie into your backlink strategy, support your business, and showcase your authority.

Authenticity is not just a buzz word, though, if you hear it as much as I do, you might start wondering if maybe it should be 😜

But being authentic isn’t about following a trend or looking like everyone else. It’s actually about letting your genuine voice and values shine through in your content.

One question I get a lot is during onboarding is: How can you capture my voice if you aren’t me?

It’s possible. And it has a lot to do with getting to know you.

But if you want some tips on how to make that journey easier, I have 3 tips (because 3 is my favourite number!) for you to try!

1️⃣ Conversation.
One of the best ways to get your copywriter to know who you are is to talk to them. Whether it’s in your on-boarding call, emails, or quick messages the more you speak the easier your copywriter will understand your energy, your tone, and pick up on your favourite phrases.

**Make sure to check in with your copywriter to set the boundaries for conversation.

2️⃣ Share content that you love.
The more insight you give your copywriter about content that makes you feel “HECK YES! This is me” the more they will understand who you are.

3️⃣ Give them a “Never this” list.
Any words or phrases that make you absolutely cringe (boss babe, I’m looking at you!)? Make sure to give your copywriter a list of “never will I ever say these words” list so your content sounds like you.

🦄 Remember: you don’t have to write your own content for it to sound like you. But your content needs to FEEL like you wrote it.

When I think of community, I think of and the Soulmate Client Society, I think of , I think of and the newly launched . I think of and their networking events. I think of the people I have met in these groups, and how a part of my day they’ve become.

For me, I’m grateful for the support they’ve given me, the encouragement to keep going, and… the kick in the pants (figuratively, not literally though I’m sure some have wanted to and it may have been warranted 🤣) I’ve needed to see things through.

Community is an important part of being an entrepreneur. Because your community is there for you, encouraging you to be your best self. It’s different than friends (unless your friends are also entrepreneurs, and if so, bring them to your community). It’s different than a family. And yet, it fills a similar need.

This week has been full of community. And I am incredibly grateful for the inspiration that I feel being in these circles.
