I’ve been having a few pinch me moments lately and I really wanted to share on here!! 🥰✨
I am so grateful moments like these that remind me why I started this journey. Recently, I had the honour of being a guest panelist at the Haskayne School of Business in an Entrepreneurship class - a dream I had during my undergrad days. Back then, I felt lost and uncertain about the future. My goal was to share my personal journey, to be honest with the students. Connecting with them was a pure pleasure, reflecting on my path from internships to working full time at various marketing agencies, to finally pursuing my own business full time.
Then came Alliances in Marketing industry night - a club I once promoted events for during my undergrad. I remember thinking, ‘One day, I want to be up there, a guest students seek out.’ And guess what? That dream became reality🥹. It was surreal, and I loved chatting with all the students! It was also so fun being back on campus, I spent the last year of my undergrad at home, and I love any excuse to be back on campus.
In between, coffee chats with students have been great! My journey hasn’t been linear, but it’s been guided by my own instincts, fuelled purely by passion. These conversations serve as gentle reminders of why I started and why I keep going. I’m living my version of a dream life, with many more chapters to write. 🥹🥰🤍
Side note: Anxiety was real for these events. Public speaking still scares me, but as they say, ‘Practice makes perfect!’ And let’s talk about imposter syndrome - it’s been hitting me hard lately. Oh well 😅
Anyway, thank you for joining me on this journey. If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s to never settle when it comes to your passions. Trust your instincts, follow your heart. Life’s too short to dread your day-to-day✨
*yes I fully cut out the prof and other speakers in the last pic, was not sure if they’d want to be posted? LOL
