Dream Launch Grow Future of Women, Future of Work! At Dream Launch Grow, we know the workforce is changing fast with AI, automation, and constant disruption.

DREAM | LAUNCH | GROW
Future of Women - Future of Work | We support women to advance their careers, step into leadership, or launch something new with Feminine Design, Rhythmic Intelligence, and Rhythm Circles that builds confidence and resilience. Women can’t afford to be left behind - and we’re here to make sure they move forward with strength and clarity. We support women in Canada, who are:

- Advancing into leadership,
- Transitioning through reinvention,
- Launching new careers or businesses. Our programs - including Rhythm Circles, EmpowerHER, DreamBuildHER, Voice Frequency, and custom workforce training - are built on Professional Rhythmic Intelligence, a trauma-aware, human-centred approach to leadership, communication, and resilience. We believe wellness and resilience are not optional – they’re the foundation of sustainable leadership and growth. That’s why everything we offer is designed to help women step into opportunity without hustle culture, and with the confidence to thrive in a changing world of work.

Celebrate the progress.

We really have come a long way.

Women are educated, working, building businesses, leading and contributing to our communities and economy in ways generations before us fought hard to make possible.

That deserves to be celebrated.

At the same time, the work we are doing keeps showing me where equity still falls short.

We see it in women’s health.
We see it in the economic and career penalties women can still experience in the workforce.
We see it in technology-facilitated violence.
We see it when women need safety or protection and have to navigate systems that do not always hear them, believe them or respond well.

These are not separate issues.

They are all connected to the systems women are trying to live, work, lead and stay safe within.

So this Gender Equality Week, I’m celebrating the progress.

And I’m also asking the harder questions.

Can women participate fully?
Can we advance and lead?
Can we build economic security?
Can we access the care we need?
Can we be safe?
Can we be heard and taken seriously?

There is much to celebrate.

There is still much worth changing.

In the spring of 2026, we worked with EPWIC - East Prince Women's Information Centre to conduct women’s health and wellness research with women living in East Prince and Western Queens County.

This summer, we spent a lot of time going through the responses, synthesizing and analyzing the data in preparation for our report.

There was one response from a senior woman that really struck us.

She shared that a health-care provider had connected the urgency of her care to the fact that she was retired. She was no longer in the workforce and there wasn’t the same urgency to get her healthy and back to work.

In reading this comment, a feeling of heaviness come over us.

Maybe because we have witnessed some of this with our own aging parents as they get older. Not this exact experience, but the barriers they face accessing care and some of the stigma and ageism that can come with getting older.

Our involvement with Age-Friendly PEI has also opened our eyes to ageism in ways we hadn’t really thought about before.

So this woman’s comment has stayed with us.

When did our health become tied to our economic worth?

And once we are no longer participating in the paid workforce, are we treated differently by the systems that are supposed to care for us?

We would really like to explore this more.

For those who are older or retired, women and men, have you experienced something similar? Have you ever felt that your age or the fact that you were no longer working changed how your health concerns were treated?

We would genuinely like to hear your experiences.

What do today’s investments tell us about tomorrow’s opportunities? 🇨🇦

Some especially good economic news from Prince Edward Island this week.

Charlottetown-based Atlantic Aqua Farms is leading a new $1.1 million project here in PEI to develop oyster seed that is more resistant to MSX disease, partnering with Onda and CAT Genetics Canada, both based in Souris.

For PEI, this matters.

MSX has caused devastating losses in parts of our oyster industry, an industry worth approximately $60 million annually to the Island economy.

What I find particularly interesting is the response.

Aquaculture + genomics + biotechnology + science.

It’s an example of how innovation can help protect an existing industry while also building new economic capacity.

And we’re seeing other examples of businesses building capacity across Canada.

In Ontario, automotive manufacturer Plasman has invested $10 million in new advanced manufacturing equipment, resulting in approximately 18 additional jobs.

Canadian clean-energy manufacturer Hybrid Power Solutions has also moved into a larger manufacturing facility after reaching capacity at its previous location.

Different industries, but a common thread:

Investment. Innovation. Technology. Capacity.

And that leads to the question behind Future Women | Future Work.

As Canada’s economy changes, are women positioned and prepared to capitalize on the opportunities being created?

Where will the higher-value jobs be?

What skills will they require?

Where are the pathways into leadership?

And are we preparing women today for the industries and opportunities Canada is building for tomorrow?

Because economic growth isn’t only about attracting investment.

It’s also about who is positioned to participate in the prosperity that investment creates.

Are women positioned to prosper from the economy Canada is building?

Innovation PEI is reviewing its financial assistance programs and asking Island businesses for input into what those programs should look like going forward. This is an important conversation for Women to be part of.

Across Canada, there is a larger conversation happening about our economic future: productivity, trade diversification, new markets, AI and automation, business investment, workforce shortages, and where Canada needs to build greater capacity.

There is a lot changing, and with change comes both uncertainty and opportunity.

The question I keep asking: “Are Women positioned to prosper from the economy Canada is building?”

I spent many years working in business and economic development. When the economy changes, opportunity changes, industry grow, businesses expand, markets open, and different skills become valuable.

Economic development is more than attracting investment and counting jobs. It is also about understanding where opportunity is going and making sure people are prepared for it.

We need to look at women’s economic prosperity in the same way. We have done a lot to encourage women to start businesses. We also need to look at what happens after they start.

Can they grow? Access capital? Enter new markets? Joint large supply chains? Access procurement? Invest in technology? Build companies that create employment and wealth?

The same questions apply to women in the workforce. When we hear about investments in manufacturing housing, defense, energy, technology, infrastructure, or agri-food, we should look beyond the number of jobs announced.

What are those jobs? What do they pay? What skills will people need?

If a woman is earning $40,000 a year, is there a realistic pathway where she could earn &60,000, $70,000 or more?

Telling Women to “upskill “is not enough. Upskill for what?

We need to know where the opportunities are, what skills women already have, what they may need, and whether there is an actual economic opportunity at the end of that training.

There is tremendous change happening in Canada. There is uncertainty & opportunity. I want Women to be ready.

Many women carry powerful ideas yet still hesitate to speak when it matters most. Not from lack of ability, but from years of performance‑based communication models that don’t fit how we’re built.

The Embodied Speaker is a small, in‑person immersion on PEI for women who want a steadier, more grounded voice—one rooted in presence, clarity, and the body.

When a woman trusts her voice, her leadership transforms.

Many women carry powerful ideas yet hesitate to speak when it matters most, not from lack of skill, but because most communication training is built on performance, not embodiment.

We're opening a small, in‑person immersion here on PEI to help women find a steadier, more grounded voice.

The Embodied Speaker: One‑Day Immersion

A feminine model of communication that builds presence, clarity, and confidence through the body.

You’ll learn to:
• Clarify and strengthen your message
• Develop a grounded, credible voice
• Stay steady under pressure

This isn’t about performing. It’s about communicating with embodied authority.

Leadership doesn’t start with a title. It starts with how safe you feel using your voice. In meetings, in conversations, and in the moments where something important needs to be said.

Many women know there is more they want to express…but something holds them back. Not because they don’t have the insight. But because, somewhere along the way, it didn’t feel safe to use their voice fully.

For too long, communication and public speaking have been shaped by a masculine model focused on performance, projection, and pushing through. For many women, this model creates pressure, self-doubt, and a quiet disconnection from their natural way of expressing.

This is a feminine model, one that:

- honours the body
- builds voice through safety, not force
- allows truth, presence, and clarity to emerge rather than be performed

The Embodied Speaker: One-Day Immersion is not just about speaking.

It’s about:
• Bringing forward the deeper truth of what you want to say
• Developing your message and the story behind it
• Releasing the patterns that have kept your voice contained
• Learning to speak with steadiness, confidence, and ease

This is a space to be heard.
To be witnessed.
To be celebrated.
To take up space with dignity without having to become someone else to do it.

Whether you are leading in your work, your community, or your own life,
your voice is part of how you lead.

This is about more than data.
It’s about finally being heard.
