Great news to share! 🥳

We, alongside our partner Mastercard, are proud to announce that we are the first ever recipients of the Everyday Impact Award from PrideAM 🏳️‍🌈 for “True Name”.

Mastercard’s True Name feature lets cardholders with participating banks use their true first name on their card without requiring a legal name change, which will help many trans and nonbinary Canadians live their everyday lives more freely and truly.

Last but certainly not least…

Nishant Raina is the Director of Product Management for Small & Medium Enterprise Solutions at Mastercard Canada. In this role, Nishant is responsible for developing the SME segment strategies within Canada. This includes commercializing new products and services and supporting new product development with partners.

Nishant is passionate about making an impact within the SMB community, empowering businesses and Mastercard customers with opportunities through innovation, mentorship and connections.

Prior to Mastercard, Nishant’s role at RBC involved shaping the product line strategy and ongoing product management of the business cards portfolio, and the modernization of retail consumer products. Nishant holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Nishant Raina est directeur de la gestion de produits, solutions pour PME, chez Mastercard Canada. À ce titre, Nishant est responsable de l’élaboration de stratégies du marché des PME au Canada. Il s’agit notamment de commercialiser de nouveaux produits et services, et de soutenir le développement de nouveaux produits avec des partenaires.

Le fait d’agir concrètement en créant des occasions d’affaires pour les PME et les clients de Mastercard au moyen de l’innovation, du mentorat et des relations passionne Nishant.

Avant de se joindre à Mastercard, Nishant était responsable d’élaborer la stratégie de la gamme de produits et de la gestion en continu du portefeuille de cartes d’entreprise à la RBC, ainsi que de moderniser les produits pour consommateurs. Nishant est titulaire d’une maîtrise en administration des affaires de la Ivey Business School de l’université Western en Ontario et d’un baccalauréat en administration des affaires de l’université Wilfrid-Laurier.
