My heart just melted… 🥹

This little sweetheart will call me Aunty Aunty when she can talk— and she’s wearing a dress that belonged to her great-great aunty when she was a baby! Yes!! it used to be mine!

How special is that? Generations wrapped into one tiny moment.

And those eyes… they just sparkle. She looks like a little porcelain doll and I honestly could have photographed her all day.

Golden hour wrapped us in its gentle light, painting the sky with soft pastels and setting the canola field aglow.

As an artist, moments like this are "everything" - the warmth, the color, the quiet magic of a story unfolding in nature’s embrace.

I don’t just take photos - I listen, I watch, and I tell the story of who someone is in that fleeting, beautiful moment.

The first image is straight out of camera. The second is the result of my hands, and heart, spent lovingly hand-editing and painting in Photoshop. No AI. No shortcuts.

The other evening, I had the joy of photographing this beautiful young woman. There was a quiet light in her eyes—gentle, yet full of life—and her sweet, kind spirit truly shone through.

Graceful in presence and heart, she was an absolute dream to capture.

The golden light, tall grasses, and peaceful stillness—it was nothing short of magic.
