About Me & Why “Seen” Was Born
For as long as I can remember, my heart has been drawn to women—listening to their stories, sitting with their pain, and gently reminding them of who they truly are.
My husband and I have ministered together for many years, and along the way I have had the privilege of leading women’s studies, walking with women one-on-one, and helping facilitate conferences and retreats.
My deepest desire in all of it has always been the same:
To see women walk in freedom — not just talked about, but truly lived.
I have also been given the sacred opportunity to do photojournalism work connected to the rescue of young girls from the s*x trade and to be involved in other justice-focused initiatives.
Those moments changed me. Standing so close to brokenness, and also to courage, reinforced something I already knew deep in my spirit:
Every woman carries immeasurable worth, no matter what she has been through.
Fine-Art Portrait Photography has been one of the ways I have expressed that truth for over 20 years.
I am an award-winning photographer, and my portraits have been published in books, album covers, and magazines—but the recognition has never been the point.
What matters most to me is sitting across from a woman, really seeing her, and capturing who she is — not who she thinks she has to be. I love meeting with women one-on-one, creating space where masks can fall away and authenticity is welcomed.
So many of us have believed lies spoken over us in our past—lies that shape how we see ourselves, our bodies, our value, and even God. I know this because I have had to walk that journey myself.
Freedom didn’t come from perfection; it came from truth, courage, and learning to "see" myself the way God always has.

Seen — A Sacred Portrait Experience was created from that place.
Seen is not about perfection or “fixing” yourself. It’s about peeling back the layers of striving and false beliefs, and stepping into freedom, authenticity, beauty, and truth.
More than a portrait session, my hope is that every woman who walks through this experience leaves feeling seen, valued, and deeply loved. 🤍
It all ends in a Portrait Experience that serves as a testimony of who you have been created to be.
