Did you know that 94% of malware is delivered by email? Here are FIVE tips to help you avoid becoming a victim of an email attack.

TIPS:
1) Always scan attachments from unknown sources
2) AVOID opening .exe files
3) Never click links from unknown sources
4) Be careful of fake website links (i.e., facebok.com)
5) NEVER enter personal data (passwords, etc.) after clicking an email link (this is how phishing happens)

Let's talk about different button styles. For this month's post, we'll combine button styles with February's post about cards. Buttons are often found on cards. For this post, we have two button styles:

1) Help/Info - clearly indicates its purpose; non-intrusive means of showing how to get more information; and works well when combined with call-to-action buttons.

2) Call-to-Action - greater use of graphics combined with text; larger, more prominent button; more styling options available such as colour changes (single or multiple), filling animations, and state-specific designs (i.e., active, inactive, focused, hovering, etc.)

Help buttons convey information about the subject they are around. Call-to-action buttons are used in tandem with other page elements for a specific purpose, such as soliciting purchases, donations, or clicks.

This month's CSS post is on Hover Links. There are two states involved in web development: "static" and "active." Static is when the link is on the page, not being hovered on, while Active is the opposite.

In this post, we represent two possible designs for link hovering. The first is a simple design that represents the link's purpose. The second design is more complex (from a coding and visual standpoint). It represents the link in a more visually appealing and flashy way.

As the post points out, the simple design is easy to understand and integrate while, the complex design is more unique, has a better click-through-rate, and can be more specifically tailored to fit a brand.
